Greetings!

When I had our first child I looked at several different options for creating her birth announcement.  I didn't like the cards that I found in the stores and didn't have the time to scrapbook the quantity of cards I would need.  I decided to make my own card that would reflect our style and be a card that I would be proud of giving out.  Once I started designing the announcement I realized how much I enjoyed the process and soon realized that I created eight different announcements.  It can be so hard to choose just one!  

After several years of teaching Elementary school, I am now home with our three children.  I feel so blessed to be able to work at home doing something that I really enjoy.  The best part is that I can work when the kids are sleeping on my own time. 

 I believe that everyone should be able to have beautiful birth announcements, invitations, thank you cards, holiday cards, etc, regardless of the individual budget.  Therefore, we seek to provide beautiful products with great customer service at affordable prices.  The digital option is great since it gives the customer more control.  You can print as many cards as you wish at the photo finishing location of your choice.  The image can also be e-mailed and/ or posted on facebook.  In the age of digital online scrapbooking, it can even be added to that special photo book.  How great is that!?!  Our card stock printed cards are beyond beautiful and therefore the perfect choice for a wedding invitation or thank you card. You won't be disappointed as these are sure to impress! 

What's in a name?  Coming up with a business name was a difficult task. I wanted something unique, meaningful and classy.  Dolcetto is an Italian grape variety not commonly grown anymore, the word also means little sweet one.  My husband is a professional wine maker at Pacific Breeze Winery in New Westminster, BC therefore our family is not only into design, but wine.  With this in mind, Dolcetto Designs seemed like a great choice for our custom photo card business.  We hope you like it.
